Meet Lillian “Nikki” Hurley-Hines, MA, LPC, LMHC
Psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, & founder
I believe therapy should feel like a journey home to yourself.
Online Therapy & Hypnotherapy
In Colorado & Indiana
Therapy doesn't have to feel cold or clinical.
It can feel like finally talking to someone who understands.
In our work together, you'll find a space where all of you is welcome: the version that has it together and the one that doesn't, the part that's ready to change and the part that's terrified of what that might mean. This is a place where you don't have to perform, explain yourself, or have it all figured out.
I believe every part of you exists for a reason. The anxiety, the avoidance, and the patterns that won't change no matter how hard you try have kept you safe in some way. We'll get curious about what they've been protecting you from, and what they need in order to finally let you move forward.
Therapy asks a lot of you, and I don't take that lightly. I am grounded, curious, validating, and when it's appropriate, humorous. I take the work seriously without making every session feel heavy. I'll be honest when something is worth naming, challenge you when it serves you, and hold space when that's what you need.
My own experiences in therapy led me to this work.
I used to feel hopeless about changing my life until I learned I didn't have to keep living the way I had been. When we work together, you're not just getting someone who went to school to be a therapist; you're getting someone who knows what it's like to be on the other side of the conversation.
I work with adults who...
✓ Care deeply about their own growth and are willing to do the work to get there.
✓ Want more than just symptom relief; they want a life that feels fulfilling.
✓ Are self-aware enough to know something needs to change, even if they're not sure what.
✓ Show up to sessions ready to be honest with themselves, even when it's uncomfortable.
✓ Believe they are capable of more than their circumstances.
Being in between who you were and who you're becoming
isn't a problem to solve;
it's a doorway to walk through.
My Guiding Principles
Every part of you belongs here.
The messy, complicated, contradictory parts included. There is nothing you can bring into this space that is too much or too hard to work with.
You are not your diagnosis.
Anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma are experiences you've had,
not who you are.
I am interested in the whole person,
not just the presenting problem.
You already have
what you need.
The answers you're looking for exist within you. My job is to help you access them, trust them,
and act on them.
Change is always possible.
It may not always feel that way, but feeling stuck and being stuck are not the same thing. It takes courage to admit, “I just don’t want to live this way anymore.”
The body holds what the mind
can't always say.
Your experiences don't just live in your mind; they live in your body too.
We'll make space for what your body is trying to tell you.
There is no timeline
for this work.
Healing unfolds in stages, not on a schedule. I'll honor where you are while helping you take meaningful steps forward.
